We’re going to have a party–a site-launching party–and you’re invited!

Who: You and all your friends!

What: Web-site launching party!

When: May 1-7, 2007–all week long!

Where: The World Wide Web (more specifically– http://fictionfundamentals.com)
Why: To let all fiction writers, both aspiring and experienced, know about this site.

How: You can spread the word by making a mention of Fiction Fundamentals in your blog or web site, sending out e-mails with the link to your writerly friends, or stop by and leave a comment (and you’ll be registered to win a door prize).

RSVP: Not necessary! Just show up and have a great time. Be sure to leave a comment when you stop by so we’ll know who all showed up!

Who Knows?

I have no idea how all this magical World Wide Web stuff works, but I didn’t update the blog incorporated into my site for several weeks, and now it suddenly is gone. Wiped off cyberspace. It was a WordPress blog imbedded into the site as a Joomla! component. If I had messed with it and it disappeared, I would have understood. But I promise I didn’t even touch it! Very strange. Anyway, I’ve now linked to my “old” blog. Yeah, it’s in WordPress, too. It just hasn’t been updated in a while.I feel like Ralphie’s dad did in the movie “A Christmas Story,” when the Bumpass’s dogs ate the turkey. Only instead of no more turkey pot pie and turkey chow mein, it’s no more posts written during the past couple of months.
